5A Assembly - Language Day

Many Languages. One Heart. One India.

The students of Grade 5 (5A & 5B) presented a meaningful exploration of India’s linguistic diversity through their special assembly, “From LOL to Love – Words That Unite India.” The presentation thoughtfully highlighted how language shapes connection and identity.

The skit opened with students reflecting on the overuse of digital slang and gradually rediscovering the beauty of heartfelt, meaningful words. Through engaging dialogues and expressive narration, they journeyed across India, honouring literary greats such as Rabindranath Tagore, Tukaram, Thiruvalluvar, and Tulsidas.

The presentation culminated in a vibrant choir performance of “Mile Sur Mera Tumhara.” The Language Day assembly beautifully reinforced the message of unity in diversity. Overall, the performance reflected confidence, cultural pride, and the true power of words to unite hearts.
