Educational Field Trip to Hampi
"Hampi: Where history breathes through stones.”
Students of Grades 7 and 8 set on a two-night, three-day educational trip to Hampi on 29th January 2026.The key attractions of the tour included visits to the Virupaksha Temple, where students learned about its religious and architectural significance, and the Vitthala Temple with its stone chariot and musical pillars. They also explored the Krishna Temple, Hazara Rama Temple, and Kadalekalu Ganesha, gaining insights into ancient craftsmanship and royal traditions. The Riverside Ruins along the Tungabhadra River offered a glimpse into Hampi’s rich past. On the final day, visits to the Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stables, and Mahanavami Dibba helped students understand the Vijayanagara Empire’s culture and administration. The trip was immensely enriching, allowing students to experience history beyond textbooks and develop a deeper appreciation for India’s cultural heritage. Knowledgeable guides brought the monuments to life with engaging stories, making the journey both educational and unforgettable.
